One thing that should even bum Republicans out about Bush is that he never looks remotely happy or comfortable unless he is on vacation. I really think he must hate his job... rover handling and all.
Mike, buddy, it's totally OK. I absolutely appreciate your email. Thanks for being honest and forthcoming.
I started writing about the Plame affair for Raw Story back in October. I also write for Truthout.org and other sites. So you may have seen my stories on the leak elsewhere.
Raw Story is doing a good job considering that they have started an independent media outlet from scratch less than 2 years ago, the editor is a mere 24 years old and has built his site up into a real, full-fledged news organization. But like all new businesses there were some bumps along the way. But I am hoping to help them get rid of that perception.
I read your blog regularly and appreciate that you took the time to reach out.
I think Novak is hoping that if he aligns himself with Woodward he won't be seen as such an evil bastard. However, I get the feeling that Novak feels he was hung out to dry by his pals in the White House and that is why he said the president knew who his source was. I guess he felt that no one rallied around him.
Blake said.... I really think he must hate his job... rover handling and all.
Of course he hates his job, these guys hate government. It makes you wonder why they got involved in politics if they hate government so much. My guess is to make it easier for their homies to do business
I mentioned the same speculation as Jason on another site, that perhaps Novak is upset that he has been such a good lap dog all these years and now he feels lonely and abandoned (I did use the same term, "hung out to dry," in fact) by the WH.
Doesn't Dub look just like Kevin Kline as President Michell in "Dave"? Remember, his distaste for the dogs.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
Updated several times a day.
