I would probably support the medical idea, but I don't know.
The reason I liked this picture is because it was so enigmatic. What is that look on the main soldier's face? Where are the little girls parents? It looks kinda like everybody else is moving out while he's yet to move.
Is it the birth of democracy, a moment of regret, is it what we're leaving behind? I don't know.
I just found this kind of riveting, and, like alot of my pictures of the day, that's why I put it up.
She's obviously dead. Look at the dude's face. This is a very emotional and plain-speaking photograph. It speaks to the violence of war (no matter who is running the engine).
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
Updated several times a day.

It's a metaphoric image for the Bush Iraq policy. On the other hand, is the child alive?

Closer examination of the child suggest it may be bleeding. And the soldier is wearing rubber gloves. I wonder what the real story is on this shot.
