Picture of the Day - Falling back to earth as "R-Ariz."
It must be tough. No secret service, no staff following, no "body man" standing by with chapstick, no excitement, no "juice," no power, no dream..... Just you..... Waiting around at one committee meeting or another, listening to all those Senators drone on.....

(I wouldn't think his presidential run and the attendant Congressional losses won him any more GOP friends or power.)

And Joe the Plumber doesn't return his calls anymore...
Still, It hard to feel sorry for someone who ran the campaign he did and who picked Sarah Palin to be a 72-year-old heart beat away from the most powerful political seat on earth.
At least he has Cindy and the kids.... and, you know, all that beer money. *sniff* Life is tough.

Agreed. It's not the hardest of landing spots.
But it still must feel so hard going from number one to having to wait in lines.

He does seem to ride a roller coaster of political celebrity. Look at his entire congressional career.

Yup.
However, I guess he did have a little practice for this in 2000.
