I'm not sure which is more surprising: that a Party Chairman is coaching volunteers to spread smears or that a journalist actually found evidence of campaign activity in a McCain field office.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.

Yeah. If you read the larger piece, Tumulty was invited into the office to witness the groundgame by campaign folks.
I don't know is the chairman knew she was there, but she was invited in.
