imo, many lesbians are visibily proud of it/not ones to work hard to stay in the closet(many of the ones I know are) and lord knows how that must piss off the Gen LeMays in the ranks...

Also, there's an unbacked by data argument that perhaps lesbians might be more prone to armed forces service, while gay men might not be at the same levels.
Maybe that's just me stereotyping.

I know that, but I know four women who served in the military in the last 10 years, and 3 of the four are gay. (Two are a couple.)
So, you'll understand why I jumped there.
