Thought for the Day
No one was ever punished for pushing known false intel to the American public. Aluminum tubes, "sixteen words," Niger forgeries, the "Iran laptop," fantastic Al Qaeda plots.....

And certainly the people who are the target of the ops.

But people have been run out of the current administration (or had their confirmation's in limbo) for being "radical leftists."
Frickin' nuts.

Right.
If you read the Honduras article, the GOP are holding up a couple of state department confirmations because the Obama folks aren't heeling to the Bush Sr. policy of support fopr rightist coups in Central America.

I think Obama needs to push back -- hard --on the rabid-right, neo-confederates or he risks hitting a tipping point on credibility, a la Kerry and the Swiftboaters.
The corporate media isn't about to call "bullshit." Their lexicon contains "radical left wing" but not "radical right wing."

I get that, but on something like Honduras, it's currently under the radar, and making a stand there creates a fight he doesn't yet have. With so much else "on the plate" does he really want to get sucked into Honduran politics, especially with the outcome out of his hands and still yet to be determined?
