They went gaga over Palin too. And then she opened her mouth.
I'm not saying Jindal's an ignorant fool like Palin, but if all he's got is tired cut taxes talking points and bitching about how unemployment aid MAY cause business taxes to go up at some unspecified time in the future, well... Plus, lets see how he handles a 2 billion dollar shortfall in his state's budget. The fickle media will be watching.... and eventually they'll be hunting for anti-Jindal voices to attack the "hero" they created.

Oh, Jindal is definitely not an empty suit like Palin. Dude is really smart, but yeah, your point holds.
Plus, I just realized this morning that he's only been governor for 13 months, not really long enough for any problems.

See here's the thing... He's smart and well educated, but he's championing tired old Republican policies that have been tried and have failed. So he may know that Africa isn't a country, and he may actually be able to construct a cogent thought.... He's still pushing tired and failed ideas.
He's like a well educated doctor who nonetheless promotes leaching as a cure all.
Also, I'll bet that his "successes" weren't because he was exercising Right Wing ideology, but rather pragmatism. (Ethics reform and taking charge during Hurricane Gustav, for example)

Sort of, except that he knows he can't just come out and say leaching.
Unlike Palin, he does have a decent ear, so his crazy will have to be extracted rather than just spit up.
