  • I hope Rod Blagojevich appoints Tammy Duckworth to Obama's Senate seat over Jesse Jackson Jr. She deserves it.

  • Not to be too cynical, and I don't know the local politics, but those usually got to people as a political payoff of some kind.

    I don't think Duckworth works on that level, or has that level of a patron.
