A blistering review of McCain's field offices
Sean Quinn at 538 has a blistering review of the McCain field offices (ground game) in a series of west/midwest states.
(538 is definitely pro-Obama, but generally pretty straight.)

That was a scathing report.
So much for the famous Republican ground game.

Again, one guy, visiting offices selected for unknown reasons, but yeah.
It falls into the worst expectations of our assumptions.

Nate and Sean (the brains behind 538.com) are doing a Kerouac-like "On the Road" tour of the states. They produce political "travelogue" posts of what they see in each state.
What was most shocking to me was the revelation that they had been suppressing the real state of the McCain campaign up until now. They are admittedly pro-Obama, but by giving the McCain campaign the benefit of a doubt thus far, they have shown amazing neutrality, IMHO.
And it's actually three guys visiting offices selected for known reasons. One guy is just a driver/photographer, since they are travelling by car across the country and they need to switch off driving duties.
The entire "tour" is a very interesting idea to me.
