Is this what the McCain spokes people meant by "learning at the feet of the master?"
Will Lieberman continue to operate as a shadow VP candidate, as he has been? The GOP seem to have Palin in the cone of silence... no open media, just staged and teleprompted events. They might send Lieberman to the interview programs. Will the media bite?

You're already hearing grumbles.
The most interesting moment yesterday might have been when Howard Fineman cam a little unglued on Hardball outlining how the McCain operation had been targeting him for retribution for something he claimed he didn't do. He seemed troubled, fearful, and angry all at once, and talked remarkably openly about the backroom stuff.
Haven't seen the video anywhere yet.
