Picture of the Day - 2
That's Houston megachurch leader, rising evenagelical star, and bestselling author Joel Osteen from Houston, Texas.
Just accidentally meeting in a Pittsburgh hotel? Interesting.
(Later: She went to services at Lakewood the day before the Texas primary.)

Eww, creepy. If she's trying to draw a contrast between her wholesome religious connections and Obama's questionable ones, she should steer clear of this guy. I'd be willing to bet he's got Eliot Spitzer tendencies.

I know this guy... Lemme think. Oh yeah, I bought a Subaru from him about ten years ago.

I don't know. I don't think this is meant to be anything big, There's not an article with both their names, so it's not an apprarance or anything.
My guess is he's just making contacts and being nice, but it's pretty weird he'd just show up in a Pittsburgh hotel. (And I'm guessing he's not in the parade because neither he nor his daughter are wearing green.)
He has been decidedly apolitical. His congregation is probably the most diverse for a megachurch in the country. Everything from poor black and Vietnamese, to Texas redneck suburban, to rich urban white.

Joel Osteen held a worship service in Pittsburg (Mellon Arena) the night before. He was leaving the Hotel Saturday morning to return to Houston and Hillary Clinton was in the lobby. Don't you guys read the news?

Here's an interesting story on Hillary and her network of Christian psychos looking to rule the country.
(Ok, they're probably not psychos, but religion scares me. Especially when people try to turn their beliefs into legislation.)

Anon, I did a yahoo news seacrh with their names and got nothing recent. Thanks.
....
Jeff, it's the religious accumulation of power that scares me.
