I wrote that in a hurry, but arguably, he campaigns better on the economy, and he doesn't have a long voting record, quote trail tying him to this president.
Romney might look like a stronger candidate on paper, but it just doesn't seem like anyone likes or trusts him. If he was a Protestant, it might be different.
I actually think you're underestimating McCain. He has some potentially huge liabilities, but I still think he's going to appeal to a lot of centrists. Did you see the recent polling about how many blue-collar Democrats favor him over either Hillary or Barack?
I agree. I just see that long list of comments and ties to Bush and wonder, especially if the Bush economic policy becomes the villain it looks like it may be.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
