What the war really costs
Apparently, despite the President's rosy outlook after his "daring" trip to Iraq, the Senate wants to know just how much this is going to cost(in dollars) going forward.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate voted unanimously on Wednesday to force President George W. Bush to submit a budget for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars instead of financing them in emergency bills that are pushed through Congress with minimal scrutiny.
But as we all know, that's just one of the costs of the war.

Quite frankly, the way billions in cash have been scattered around Iraq, I don't see the dollars as a big deal.
What is the conflict going to cost in human terms, and not just in conflict zones, but in our own communities?
