That's one of the reasons I'm doing it. It's not so much as a political point as an effort to show what's really going on. Alot of the coverage is so statistical probably because it comes out of military releases, that I don't think the human aspects of the war, especially for the Iraqi civilians, comes through.
In the coverage, they're almost treated as background actors without lines. Just people who are there to fill out a scene. I keep imagining that all this is taking place in their front yards.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
Updated several times a day.
