This is from the "turning the corner in Iraq" press briefing the other day. Not too happy, eh?

It looks to me like Condi Rice just lost the argument.

  • Again, I just imagine a political cartoon of a square road labelled Iraq with dated "turning point" signs, and Bush back at the start.

    I imagine something like those "Burma Shave" (or where I was raised "Bollin's Running Indian") signs. "5 months to an Iraqi turning point!", "4 months to an Iraqi turning point", "You just passed an Iraqi turning point."

    Now there's a Photoshop sendup I'd like to do.
