Foggo's home searched!

The Feds are serving search warrants on Dusty Foggo's home, office, etc., and best of all, on CNN, they're carrying live aerial shots of the search, the type usually reserved for murderers, kidnappings, and manhunts.

But, Porter Goss quit over a turf battle just one week ago today....

Also: Laura Rozen has this very cryptic post with documents from the Wilkes/ Cunningham/ Lewis bribery scandal. Is she trying to imply that Josh Bolten (starts with J, ten letters) may be somehow involved? (Correction: Josh Bolten was my guess. She updated, and added guesses. Duncan Hunter and Jerry Lewis (J, ten letters.) Sorry.)

  • Hey Mike,

Off topic, but I thought you'd be very interested in this well written treatise by Glenn Greenwald on the WaPo polling regarding the wiretaps. I agree with most of it:

  • Thanks Greyhair,

I heard the biased question on Wolf Blitzer earlier and was contemplating a similar post attacking the methodology but much less thorough.

I still think we're too early to know exactly how the politics of this is going to play out. I still find it interesting that there aren't tons of ELECTED Republicans jumping up to defend this thing. They're getting decent cover from the pundits, but the elected officials are still shy. They'll go home over the weekend, and we'll see what's what when they get back.

Also, notice how quickly the admin is trying to change the subject back to immigration.

And, LOC, thanks. I just found the "manhunt cam" from the helicopter too funny. I do find the search interesting. You figure the guy would have purged all records by now, but maybe they're looking for evidence of secret bank accounts?

    Mike
