Yow! Hoarding or something else?

Whoops, sorry clicked through and found the answer, but I still suspect a bit of hoarding is contributing.

I'm just amazed. There isn't a real incident causing this, and it's not like the refiners didn't know they had to to maintenance and changeover. I used to sell products to the chemical plants down here, changeovers like this are planned six months in advance.

We haven't had any problems with the changeover out here, but petrol is still going up $.05 / gallon / day. $3.30 for mid-grade unleaded yesterday.
Course I saw that at a Emeryville gas station while on the shuttle that takes me to BART that takes me back to Sodom by the Sea. :-)
