Foxnews we alter the content, you decide.

I don't normally play media gotcha because it's an endless game, but this is soooo messed up.

Nothing concrete, but it seems like FoxNews added chirping birds to all their outdoor shots in this piece to emphasize just how pleasant and peaceful Iraq is.

Take a look.

  • Exactly. It's certainly possible that Iraq is in the midst of a migratory bird passage, we get those in Houston, but what's indicative to me is that they are apparently exactly the same number of birds from apparently exactly the same distance in all the shots.

    That just doesn't happen.

  • If this is true that they added birds chirping - that is outrageous.

    I watched the clip several times and it sure seems like the birds sounds are very uniform throughout the piece and don't chance despite the scene location changes.

    There is a rather bad edit in the middle of this clip that makes me think it has been altered.

    I wish I had seen the clip as broadcast because I am a little suspect that it really aired that way.

  • I agree. And, I don't know about the "aired version." It's not like I'm watching Foxnews. And the only evidence I have is what you see on the linkthrough page.

    So, no solid proof, but indeed if true, OUTRAGEOUS.
