Around 30-40 bodies, many shot in the head and showing signs of torture, are being found on the streets of the capital every day, morgue officials say.

The good news here I guess is that "the capital" referred to is not Washington D.C.

Why can't you guys report the good news? I'm told that many of the better streets are meticulously well-kept and largely carnage-free.
