This is just something that I've read about from a bunch of guys coming back from Iraq. It frustrates the hell out of them because it is pretty dangerous, and they have no way to stop it. The only thing at their disposal is to shoot the kids, and they can't do that.

But reading all the accounts, this is one of those things that really pisses them off.

Of course your right Mike.. The individual soldier can't win in this situation.

That's my whole beef with this war is that the poor soldiers were sent into a situation where they can't win.

There is nothing they can do to substantially change the trajectory of the situation at this point. Too many bad decisions have been made by the higher ups, and all their efforts at good works aren't going to change the siege of Fallujah, the checkpoint shootings, Abu Ghraib.

They were failed by the people who make policy; they have been let down and that just kills me.

I mean, How can Bush vacation for a total of more than one of his five years in office when Iraq is only getting worse!!!
