Picture of the Day - 2
More Danish cartoon protests.
Tell me this doesn't creep you out a little.
And this is from Kenya!
Again, I think that this is about far more than a cartoon, but doing a little picture search today, I must admit that I was surprised by the breadth of this unrest. It has spawned protests literally all over the world.

Which was the purpose! I've read that this was a US psyop to incite riots to use as a justification for our upcoming invasion of Iran.

I have no idea. Early on, it seemed pretty obvious that there was some actor working to stoke this, but the possibilities are so many, that I don't even want to guess who.
Your possibility, the US I rank in there, but I think it's more likely someone who doesn't want further US activity in the area. Iran and Syria have been mentioned working like this, but I see Russia, China or Saudi as the far more likely prospects.
Russia with its historical ties and interest in limiting US influence in the area, see their support of Iran, China protecting their oil supplies, or Saudi trying to maintain it's position of influence as regional leader.
And, I completely left out the Israelis. Funny how this cartoon which has been out since September suddenly caused a ruckus immediately after the Israelis got a new prime minister.
I don't know, I wouldn't put it past the US or somebody else in their name, British, to be doing this, but it just looks to me like its somebody else.
