Does anybody else see the irony here?

John Boehner was elected House Majority leader. Surprising, but that's not why I'm posting. Check this out from Roll Call.

House Republicans are taking a mulligan on the first ballot for Majority Leader. The first count showed more votes cast than Republicans present at the Conference meeting.

After the 2000 elections in Fla and the 2004 elections in Ohio and elsewhere, does anybody else see the irony here?

They even cheat each other.
