i was at a vigil thing yesterday for the iraqis and soldiers killed so far and they talked about a guy wh had the bag put over his head and was so scared he died of a heart attack. they read out the name of the 100 uk soldiers killed and of 100 iraqis, all aged under 15, killed by gunfire
We did a reading of children once too, very disturbing that the list went on and on... people seemed surprised, like they thought there were a handful?
Great blog Mike, I am going to link you because I know I was here before but lost track of you somehow. Ah, age.
You know I collect these photos, and you would be amazed at how many bag over the head photos are out there. It's largely standard practice.
And the horrifying thing to me is that coupled with all the reports of frontline abuse by the soldiers who first capture and "bag them" I just can't imagine what that would be like.
Hands tied, eyes covered, not knowing when the next blow was going to come....
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
