Best Cheney line so far
The best Cheney line I saw last night was on The Daily Show. Rob Cordory. After saying repeatedly, maybe twenty times with increasing hilarity, "the vice president shot a man in the face," came this great zinger.
"Well, hindsight is 20/20. Unfortunately, so was the shotgun. John"
Runner-up: Letterman.
"We can't get Bin Laden," David Letterman said on CBS, "but we nailed a 78-year-old attorney."

Yeah, I thought that was pretty good as well. Especially when matched with the repeated "shot him in the face." The words "peppered" and "sprayed" wre so minimizing.

Yeah, Josh has been pretty good on this one. I think the doubts on the public story are spreading with time. I'll be really curious how the "minor heart attack" changes the coverage because it was okay to be a little irreverent when his tsatus was "peppered" as you pointed out earlier, but to get a pellet into the heart means it had to be a pretty serious shot, and definitely not the 30 yards away as was first presented.
