Salon collects Bill O'Reilly on his show talking about the murdered Dr. Tiller.
Fox spokesperson: “Mr. O’Reilly will be addressing the issue/topic on tonight’s show.”
(Kos has some of the O'Reilly hate for Tiller, too.)
"No question Dr. Tiller has blood on his hands. But now so does Governor Sebelius. She is not fit to serve. Nor is any Kansas politician who supports Tiller's business of destruction. I wouldn't want to be these people if there is a Judgment Day.

There is something very Talibanic going on...
The fringe of the right wing has been pushing the boundaries of extreme rhetoric, seeing where the corporate media would push back. The media didn't, so they strike a new front line of extremism and are not called out. And thus extremism, through its rhetorical aggression, cows the pubic...
They've gone from defending racism to defending assassination... Very scary.

I'm still going to be a little careful casting the Tiller murder onto the right wing until we find out a bit more about the assassin.
Certainly they created an environment, but in my mind there will be a difference depending on how much is straight up crazy and how much is committed to the cause, you know?

I'm talking about the right wing's Talibanic justification that the assassination was a righteous elimination of a baby killer. Regardless of the mental state or motives of the assassin, the right wing talkers and media types, like al Qaeda and Taliban, fan the flames and encourage such independent righteous actions.

I think a better parallel might be the clerics who issue statements against America/Israel/Danish cartoons or whatever, but have no direct connection to the terror cells.
