The base that I saw fired up at Palin rallies during the campaign is probably still Palin's base. I don't know who Romney et. al. are talking to. Are they trying to alienate the extreme social/religious right?
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Yeah. They're definitely still there, but without some sort of insider backing, she's dead in the water long before she gets to Iowa.
If the insiders aren't there, the money isn't there, and then the press frames her as an "outsider."
It's that "invisible primary" that she's looking likely to lose.

It looks like Palin is in the "Council" now.

Yeah, sort of. I mean, she's involved, but that puts her name on the signatories.
This may just be a mutual agreement that the sides don't want the appearance of a fight with each other.
