Who greenlighted the attacks on the Kurds?
Just noticing that after a several month hiatus, the Turks and Iranians have started hitting the Kurds in Iraq again.
On Wednesday, the Turks bombed across the border into Iraq, and yesterday, the Iranians fired artillery and sent helicopters across the Iraqi border to attack.

Well they aren't actually hitting 'the Kurds'. The provisional Kurdish government has a problem with PJAK too. A better question might be who is financing PJAK.

Okay, maybe I shorthanded too much.
Who told the Turks and Iranians that it was okay once again to start attacking inside Iraq?
My intended question was intended to be more about the integrity of Iraq than any question of Turks, Kurds, and Iranians.

I don't think the Maliki government has any objection to attacks on Kurdish separatists.
