I was thinking the same thing. But while I think Snowe as a hypothetical possibility, Collns is too -- I don't know -- "comfortable" with modern GOP politics.
This is based on nothing but gut feeling. So take it for what it's worth.

I really don't think they switch either. They're not facing the same politics at home.
However, I would expect them to try and extort more power, influence, profile, and goodies.
