Interestingly, the oddest thing in the article was this: "When the gate attendant left to find a security guard.."
Security is so thin at Dulles that a gate clerk has to leave his post "find" a security guard?! This on the heals of what is presented as a "heated" exchange. Weird.

I have no idea.
I thought the image of Vitter taking off when he realized that security probably meant publicity pretty funny, too.
