Chuck Norris goes black helicopter

That didn't take long. Chuck Norris "claims that thousands of right wing cell groups have organized and are ready for a second American Revolution."

For your calendar, "The right wing cells will meet during a live telecast, "We Surround Them," on Friday March 13 at 5 p.m."

It's amazing how fast the "Michigan militia/black helicopter crowd" has reemerged. I don't think you can ever compare the "looney left" to these guys. They openly talk about violent overthrow of the government (which is supposed to get you in trouble.)

Last thought: Chuck Norris supposedly gave Mike Huckabee some credibility.

  • Do you really want to use "cell" and "revolution"?

I'm telling you, when it comes to extremists and militants and terrorists, there's not a dimes difference between the Islamists or Christianists. Once you declare to be acting on behalf of God...

These folks are freakin' scary! (BTW. Will Huckabee be at the ranch?)

  • This must be what Republicans meant when they said, "elections have consequences".

And Chuck Norris has a column?? WTF?

  • EPM, I watched the whole militia movement during the Clinton years with amazement. The gun nuts and folks who were preparing to resist the UN takeover were remarkably big and frighteningly sincere.

It grew and grew until Tim McVeigh blew up the federal building.

    ....

Todd, HE's had it for years. That's where the beef came from in his endorsement of Huckabee. To the rest of us, it was a Walker Texas Ranger joke, but within the far right community, he's a voice.

  • Doesn't Chuck understand that those facts were just jokes?

  • No, Chuck is as serious as a heart attack.
