If embracing Obama and the idea of government stimulus is politically savvy on the part of Crist, does that imply railing against the stimulus and "dissing" Obama is folly for the Congressional Repubs? Maybe it's all about state demographics. Maybe that's why we see the northeast COP senators coming out in support and the southern rumpers safely being dicks.
The Senate Dems are a comparatively weak-kneed lot. Sure, broadcast and cable outlets give far, far more air time to Repubs than Dems, but still the Dems are weak advocates for their own cause. That's why Obama needs to use the bully pulpit...

This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

It depends strongly on where they're from. Crist is from what now must be considered a slightly dem leaning Fla.
In the NE, and Fla, etc, the challenges are in the general elections. In the deep red states of the south, they're more worried about the primaries.
