This is just disgusting. Two judges in Pa. took $2.6 million in bribes to sentence juvenile offenders to a particular corporation's privately run juvenile prisons.
It's actually even worse than it sounds. It's not just kickbacks. They actually shut down the county-run facility, and then set up the contract with the private jailer.
5,000 possibly falsely jailed, how many lives destroyed, and they each got a little over seven years. That's it.
