President Bush is in Crawford. (No surprise there. There's an international crisis on. Where else would he be?)

Obama will be celebrating at the vacation house in Hawaii.

And the Clinton's are in Times Square.

I'll be hole up in the woods of the south-western New Hampshire, reveling in the marvel of electricity, heat and running water.... and Internet!

I'll wait for the wind to stop blowing the 8-inches of freshly fallen snow all over the place and clear it off in the morning. (Oh, crap. I have to get up at 5:30AM tomorrow to bring my daughter into work! Crap, crap, crap.)

Still nice, then. Not quite back to routine. Soon you'll have to consciously remember the problems, and then the memory will drift away....

Oh, things are pretty much back to normal now that my DSL is restored. The snow is normal too. But this morning was bitter cold and the wind was biting. Not North Dakota frigid, but still... -2ºF is pretty cold for my neck of the woods.
