Palin on SNL tonight
I know I shouldn't be bashing Sarah Palin since she's going to disappear tomorrow, but I just saw Palin's little cameo on the SNL thing tonight and, oh my god was it creepy.

Yeah, that was kinda freaky. She definitely didn't seem like the road show Palin we've seen on the campaign trail or in her interviews. it was a little chilly, if you know what I mean.

Yeah. I think the key, when your joking about exercising overreaching authoritarian power is to keep it kinda light.
I think we can also gather that she hasn't gotten over the Tina Fey impression.

Remember how we discussed earlier how Republicans (or social conservatives) have a whole different set of rules for "comedy?" It's all about ridiculing the "other" not finding humor in herself. I think Palin falls squarely in this group.... She's one of the true believers of the liberal media conspiracy to usher in the era of godless hedonism... and homo-sex'yuls
(There are exceptions to this rule, I'm sure)

Yeah.
Although in this one, she just doesn't look like she's in a comic mood. (I guess losing and being made fun of does that to you.)
(PS. Dennis Miller's decision to become the Republican comic was the worst career decision ever.)
