I'm finding the coverage of al Zawahiri's latest statement pretty damn funny.
Am I supposed to be shocked that the Al Qaeda number 2 used a politically incorrect term? Is that really the worst of his sins?
(The media really seems to want a discussion of "house negro." They want it so badly that they're using Zawahiri as their hook.)

We're supposed to see it as a desperate attempt to neutralize Obama. The real test will come when Obama says where he stands on a Palestinian state.

Yeah. I don't know if you read my post yesterday, but I'm getting this suspicion that Obama is going to take a strong, early run at mideast peace.
I don't know if the timing is right, but that's kinda how it looks to me.

Well at least he knows it's the core issue. Maybe I'm an optimist but I believe all the other stuff will get resolved....Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, the whole 'War on Terror' if and when there is a just solution in Israel/Palestine.

I really do think they're going to send the Clinton's, Hillary over the table, Bill behind closed doors out to try to restart the process.
I see that as the main purpose of Clinton as Sec State.
Way too briefly, I see Syria/US, Syria/Israel possibly resolving, but I'm not sure Iran resolves, but it does get better.
