  • Obama is coming to my town tomorrow. Harrisonburg, VA! Deep in red territory. Let's see how large a turn-out we can muster.
I'm heading out early to queue up and hope to get in. The venue only holds just over 7,000. There will be large video screens set up outside for the overflow.
I hope I can get in and have a cute moment like the photo you have up with my 11 month old. lol!

  • Only 7,000.

Wow. I don't know what the density is around there, but the fact that 7,000 is a worry that it's too small says alot about the state of the race.

  • We shall see. It's on the campus of James Madison University which has an enrollment of about 18,000, in a town of about 40k.
As I said, the Shenandoah valley strongly Republican. "Real Virginia" if you will (snark). But there is a lot of enthusiasm for Obama. Additionally, Mark Warner will win big.

  • Well, I think Obama could draw 10,000 just about anywhere at this point.

And good luck with the kid photo. If you get the rare "laying on of hands," send a photo and I'll put it up.

  • Well, no "laying on of hands" pic. But I did get some video. Also, we were up behind the CHANGE logo/banner. Right where to media was pointed. I'm wondering in all of your image draws, if you'll come across a shot of my sweet, little Obama onesie wearing daughter clapping.
