Is it just me, or does Palin sound like she's a contestant in a county fair beauty pageant whenever she's answering questions or trying to sound "deep". You know how some people try to use a "smarter" vocabulary than they're comfortable with -- and often mangling it .... I think Palin does the same thing. For someone who supposedly majored in journalism, she's really uncomfortable with words and ideas. And when she tries to sound serious (as opposed to just tough) she sounds vapid... to me anyway.
She's a natural pit bull, but this whole gravitas, reflective, deep-thoughts thing... well that's a whole new bag....
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Hello Sarah. I'm Henry. Sit there for a minute and look interested in me. It will do wonders for your image.

EPM, that's an impression. One that I kinda share, but it's subjective.
I'm more fascinated with the way they're getting her to "drop her g's" to make her sound more country.

Yes. It's all about impression.... an perception.
I'm willing to bet the very thing I find so off-putting, other demographics find edifying... comforting.
