Palin can't talk-up McCain without sounding like a fawing fan-girl. Even if she wasn't vapid on the issues, the audio/visual of her gushing over what a mavericky manly-man her bestest most special new BFF is is just embarrassing to watch.
Did you notice McCain made a plug for Palin? How she was as mavericky as he is? And how they were going to maverick it up in Worshington? It was embarrassing to anyone who knows anything...

No. I don't think it's so much the crush, it's that they can't risk her thinking in public. They can't risk her being asked something off script.

I think it was great that Obama didn't even say anything abt mccains VP. if he did the wingnuts would have pounced and created a sexism/treating her unfair argument that would have created a sense of alarm that biden needs to be extra nice...just pretend she doesn't exist and when she speaks let her fail on her own. I do hope Biden has a few nice pauses in the debate as if to "think about what she said and look like "WTF?"

I'm sorry. I was incomplete in my comment. I take it as a known given the the McCain camp is absolutely freaked out that Palin will say things that just pop into her head. I was trying to bring out another "psychological" observation.
I should have begun my comment, "On top of the fact that Palin's mouth is a loose cannon who's quickly becoming a self parody...."
For what it's worth, I don't think Palin truly is a "fawning fan-girll" It's just the personality she assumes when in an interview.
