even though it would be sad in a humane-sad way, everyday I secretly wish for McCain to completely lose it-- cuss out a reporter, throw something, take a swing, etc...like watching Woody Hayes implode...fascinating, but still sad.

Yeah, sort of.
Frankly, I think he's more involved than Bush was, but I also think that explains the wild angry careening we occasionally get out of them.

My choice would be more Bobby Knight, throwing chairs with one long "bleeep" on CNN.
