I know this is just warm and fuzzy stuff, but I'd really like to see a family in the White House that bears a resemblance to a normal American family. There's just something about the Obama's I really, really like... on a human level, if nothing else.

They're the family I hang out with at soccer games. They're the couple that always volunteer when the school needs chaperones for a field trip. Their the kids in my daughter's after school program. Their the family who lends you their weed-whacker or step ladder. They're the people who bring the best dish to the pot luck.
They're me.... only better looking and more hip :)
