This noxious regime has created an entire generation of Democrats. While that's all fine and well I'd gladly trade it all in for the lives of our soldiers.
Add to it the ragtag group of Republicans in the 2008 race and the (fairly) stellar bunch of Dems and you get America standing before a sharp left turn in the road.
Nonplussed, I started off with an "also" update linking to an analysis piece written about this study, but the post looked too long.
I didn't include the self identification clip from the article, 50% now self identifying as Dems, or, a report I saw elsewhere about the age breakdowns.
I think of it more like chemotherapy: even though he's making the country sick, he's killing the virus of totalitarian Republicanism that, if unchecked, could be far more damaging.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Perhaps my analogy comes from the fact that I'm a pessimist.
(I really do like your unintentional broader comment that Bush is radioactive.)
