When other campaigns release statements or are asked for comment they're usually phrased as coming from the mouths of the candidate: "I'm going to continue to make the case...", "I will compete across the country in the weeks ahead.."
Hillary's releases always sound like royal decrees, written in a third person speaking for "Hillary." It rubs me the wrong way. As if there's a wall between the candidate and the electorate, or that I'm not worthy enough for the candidate to speak to me directly.
Am I off base?

Well, this was intended for others to say. These were the orders for all the state people around the country who were going to be called for comment by their local paper.
