Car bomb in Turkey
I think there can be little question that this is the PKK acting in response to the continuing Turkish bombings in Iraq.
This is the third bombing in Turkey in the last two weeks.
A car bomb apparently targeting military personnel killed four people and wounded 68 others Thursday in the Kurdish-dominated southeastern city of Diyarbakir, officials said.

Guerilla warfare tactics. The Turks can probably keep a lid on it but it's hard to see how they can stop it altogether.

I agree. I don't think they can stop it. There's just too big of a Kurdish population inside Turkey for the PKK to operate out of. Even if they were to completely cut off the border somehow, which I don't think they could, the PKK has been prepping for this for years, so the assets and supplies are likely already in Turkey.
The Turks are in a vicious cycle. They have to respond, but everytime they do, it gets worse.

That's a fair point about Kurdish support, but it only takes a small percentage to support an insurgency/terrorism.
The question is whether the mass of Kurds silently allow it or turn in the PKK folks.
The whole conflict is very complex and deep historically, and I claim no expertise, but thus far, the main body of the Kurds in Turkey don't appear to be turning the PKK sympathizers over to the Turks.
