Occasionally -- very occasionally -- Bush seems to momentarily slip out of his reality bubble and displays what I can only describe as a look of confused befuddlement as the harsh, confusing, and radically different truth of the real world smacks him in the head.
It only lasts a moment, though, and he's quickly back in the saddle of delusion and hubris...

It's always tough to tell on these photos. They're clipped moments. This one might have been a moment when a questioner asked something out of his frame of reference like, "Since we're losing in Iraq...."

Sure this specific picture is just a 1/500sec moment in time, but it reminded me of several other times where Bush momentarily cramps up under questioning.

Oh yeah. I just wanted to make the point that the quote I was using wasn't specific to this instant.
