I'm not going to link to any particular article here, but I think the stock market deserves mention. Not because of the fall in itself, but because of the tangible scent of fear.
so true. even people who never think about the stock market are aware of the recent violent seesaw swings, and the noise on the news about how bad it 'suddenly' has become.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

When in reality, it's not all that bad. Market's still up 5 or 6% on the year, but the feeling of panic seems to be creeping in.
I worry about that because that's how you get the big scary losses independent of any fundamentals.
