Bush backs away from Maliki
It's all coming down.
This is in response to Levin's comments yesterday that the Iraqis should replace Maliki, but, again, what a climbdown from this administration's previous endorsements of Maliki.
"The fundamental question is, will the government respond to the demands of the people," the president said. "And if the government doesn't ... respond to the demands of the people, they will replace the government. That's up to the Iraqis to make that decision, not American politicians."

Oh they'll replace the government all right...just as soon as they break into the Green Zone. Bush may not like the replacement though.

It's a question of who, how, and how controlled it is.
If it's a different SIIC Mahdi Shia coalition then it may not be that much chaos, but those two are at each others throats.
As I mentioned in the comment above, I just don't have a sense of the shifting rumors.
(Iraqslogger sure picked a hell of a time to turn itself into an expensive paysite.)
