Tell me Chuck Hagel doesn't sound more in tune than McCain, Giuliani, and Romney who have all come out pro-surge?

Hagel clearly sounds like he is more in touch with reality than the other potential Republican 2008 contenders.

Exactly. And not only that, he oozes with a conviction and credibility that the pro-surge side, McCain, Giuliani, Romney, really lack.
We all know that McCain stands for a surge, but have you heard a truly passionate and credible argument from him. His tone on it is weird.
