Every once in awhile in the Iraq coverage I run across a particularly literary quote like that reminds me that Iraq was the best educated, most literate, most secular middle eastern country before the US got involved with them.
I was also struck by the concept that there have been so many bodies, the "holy land" cemetaries have been filled up. There is no more sacred ground.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
