  • That was a big deal that got no press because of the Kerry faux pas. Sometimes I wonder if Kerry is deliberately sabotaging the party.

  • Clearly, democracy has taken hold in Iraq. I mean, the display of that semi-auto pistol is evidence that the 2nd Amendment at least is universal!

  • Libby, yeah, we had a bit of a discussion a post or two down. I think it's his ego. He still wants to be the big dog and has confused the passionate support for a Dem presidential candidate in 2004 to actual support for him. He really believes it was him that drew the wave, not the reality that it was him that squandered it.

    And this is a huge story. Sadr just flexed his muscle and US strategy had to change.

    Rex, that's a funny, but really good point. I think that's the only right they have anymore.

  • The guy in the picture resymbels the guy holding the gun. Maybe it is the same person and he is trying to blend in with the crowed so he don't get killed.
