The night of the tiny little knives?
This morning, new chief of staff Josh Bolten told the White House staff to expect changes. Do you think Bush is going to allow the real problems to be changed? Cheney? Rice? Rove? Rumsfeld?
No. It will, at most, be secondary players. (It doesn't even look like Bush is going to let Bolten get rid of Treasury Secretary John Snow.)
Josh Bolten is about to orchestrate the night of the tiny little knives.

funny title. Looks like they have all lined up to support Rummy.
Too bad.

We'll wait and see if there's still a knockout blow yet to come for Rumsfeld.
Because anybody who has got it out for Rumsfeld has to be thinking that now is the time to leak, so if there's anything else really bad out there that's in the hands of Rumsfeld's detractors it's probably going to come out this week or next.
So, if the knives are really out for Rumsfeld, I would expect to see more.
The way to do these career destroying leaks is to make the charge, let the other side set up their defense, then chop it down.
